Week 50: Open Up Your Backyard with a Picture View Screen Enclosure

A screen enclosure should keep the bugs out—but it shouldn't block the reason you love your backyard.

One of the most popular upgrades we're seeing in South Florida is the Picture View screen enclosure. Instead of having multiple vertical aluminum posts breaking up the view, Picture View designs create much larger screened openings so you can actually enjoy your pool, lake, golf course, or backyard.

For homeowners replacing an older enclosure, this can make a huge difference. Older screen cages were often designed with smaller individual panels and a lot more aluminum. Today's engineering allows us to create larger openings while still designing the structure to meet current requirements.

We especially love Picture View sections on bronze enclosures. The darker aluminum blends into the background, and the larger screen openings make the enclosure feel much more open.

If your screen enclosure is 20 or 30 years old and you're considering putting more money into repairs, it may be worth looking at what a completely new design could do for your backyard.

Sometimes replacing an aging enclosure isn't just a repair—it's an opportunity to completely change your view.
