From Repairs to New Construction, What I Specialize In

One of the most common questions I get from homeowners is what type of work I actually handle. The answer is simple. I specialize in screen enclosures, whether that means fixing what you already have or building something completely new.
I own and operate At Home Service, and my focus has always been on doing work that makes sense for the home, the budget, and the long term. Not every enclosure needs to be replaced, and not every repair is worth doing. Knowing the difference is where experience matters.
Screen Enclosure Repairs
Many screen enclosures can be repaired and continue to perform well for years. I start every repair by looking at the overall condition of the structure, not just the torn screen.
Common repairs I handle include:
Rescreening worn or damaged panels
Replacing rusted or stripped screws and fasteners
Repairing or replacing damaged doors
Addressing corrosion in specific sections
Replacing individual rails or beams when possible
If a repair makes sense, I will tell you. If it does not, I will be honest about that too.
Structural Gutter Replacement
Structural gutters play a big role in both drainage and the stability of many screen enclosures. When these gutters fail, it can lead to water problems, sagging sections, and structural issues.
I replace both five inch and seven inch structural gutters, making sure they are properly sloped, anchored, and tied into the enclosure correctly. This is not just cosmetic work. It affects how the enclosure performs over time, especially during heavy rain.
Upgrades and Improvements
Some homeowners like their enclosure but want it to function or look better. In those cases, upgrades can make a big difference without starting from scratch.
Upgrades I commonly install include:
Picture view screens for cleaner pool or lake views
Different screen mesh for better visibility or durability
Larger or self closing doors
Chair rail adjustments to improve function and control costs
Small changes done the right way can completely change how an enclosure feels.
New Screen Enclosure Construction
When an enclosure is outdated, improperly built, or beyond repair, new construction is often the best option. I build new screen enclosures that meet current Florida Building Code requirements and are designed for South Florida conditions.
That includes proper footers, correct anchoring, structural gutters when required, and layouts that make sense for how the space will actually be used. Planning these details upfront helps avoid problems later.
How I Approach Every Job
No matter the size of the project, I treat every job the same way. I look at the structure, explain the options clearly, and recommend what I would do if it were my own home.
I am not interested in overselling or rushing jobs. I care about doing solid work that lasts and making sure homeowners understand what they are getting.
